YCC currently houses the ladies in Steinkuller Hall and the men in Holliday Hall. The buildings are separated by a courtyard. All students will need to bring linens, towels, and pillows. Washers and dryers are located in each building.
Entrance to each building is secured by a keypad code which cannot be shared. Men are strictly prohibitted in the women’s dorm; women are strictly prohibitted in the men’s dorm. There are no exceptions.
The women’s 2-students rooms are large, have a sink and vanity in each, and are connected with a Jack & Jill bathroom between every two rooms. Each bathroom contains a shower and toilet. A common area is provided on the middle floor containing a tv viewing area, small appliances, and a sink with cupboards.
The men’s single rooms are smaller with toilets and showers on the hall. A common area is provided with a tv viewing area, small appliances, and a sink with cupboards.
Students living off campus will find apartments plentiful within 2 miles of YCC. However, apartment rentals can be expensive in the Billings area. All freshman students whose families reside outside the Billings area are required to live in the YCC dorms for the first year.
